1983 Full Restored Austin Minivan for sale.

I have owned this car for just over 9 years now and it has went through a full bare metal restoration 6 year ago. Since the restoration it has only been used 6 times and covered less than 1000 miles. The online MOT history can confirm this. It is currently on 58K miles and is immaculate inside and out.
It comes MOT and road tax exempt. This car has only left the garage twice since 2023 and as I have another classic which I use mostly.

Every nut and bolt was replaced during the restoration with the shell going back to bare metal to ensure there were no funny welding patches or fiberglass in it (which luckily there wasn’t). I have photos of all the different stages of the build to prove this also so you will not find any filler in the body panels and no hidden nightmares. Both sub frames were completely rebuild as new with all new rubbers and bolts along with the 998 A+ engine. I have just replaced the oil and filter on this also before taking it out of storage. All the parts interior etc. were bought new from Mini Spares with all the receipts included in the history file that goes with the van.

I have left the car as standard as possible and not added any extra’s as I was never sure what I was going to use it for to be honest. This way it’s ready for the new owner to do as they please with, signwriting arch extensions etc. The only additions are it now runs with electronic ignition and it has the quick shift gear lever fitted. The van is still fitted with Drums all round but again everything is brand new so it stops and drives like a new van.

The car is painted in Frozen White with a gloss black roof so it stands out at any show and certainly draws attention. The loading bay floor is lined with rubber but can be lifted out if required. I don’t have the time to use the van as I have another restoration project that I’m knee deep in at the moment and since I have not used it in the last few years it has to go as it’s just a waste of a good van sitting about in my garage. The V5, all the documents, history and build photos all are present and in my name to go with the van.

I will be sorry to see this go but I simply don’t have the time to enjoy it and hate seeing it not been used. Don’t miss out on a great Minivan. The car is located in Arbroath, Scotland and any inspection is welcome.
