I have owned this 1600E for 10 years. It was converted to Essex V6 in the 1970's. In my ownership, it has had a bare metal respray in its' original colour Light Orchid & a full engine rebuild by John Wade. It has a type 9 five speed gearbox. When new, it was main dealer fitted with export opening quarter lights, US spec marker lights front & rear & HRW making this car unique. It has GAZ rebuilt & uprated front struts & GAZ rear shockers & is on 7inch Minilites. It has an alloy fuel tank fitted in the boot. The interior has leather seats from an Alpha 156. The spare wheel well, tool well, spring hangers & floors have never been welded. It is in excellent condition underneath. It has a bespoke made stainless steel duplex exhaust system. It has recently had a 3. 54 Diff fitted with new Crown wheel & pinion & bearings. There is a small amount of paintwork required & some interior work. It was a feature car in Classic Ford Magazine in April 2022. It has only done approx 2500 miles in 10 years. Please contact me for more information if required.
