Reluctantly selling my mk2 cortina 1600E series 1 as I am losing my storage
Owned this for about 4 years but unfortunately it’s time to say goodbye
Rolling restoration
Bought this from someone who had it sitting in a garage for 30 years, I recommissioned it so it could be driven on the road and the plan was to totally restore it but unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be
I have completely recommissioned all the brakes
New tyres
Engine was took out and freshened up
New clutch
New radiator
Dynamator fitted
New starter motor
Head gasket and all other gaskets and seals replaced
Had some welding done on the rear arches
This is actually a very solid one!
Needs somebody who can take it to the next level
As you can see from the photos the bodywork has got patina and some holes but the actual floor pan and arches are very goodSeries one model! Tax and mot exempt
