Fiat Panda
First registered in May 1986, this Classic Fiat Panda 1000CL was purchased new by a Mrs Kelly via Rockingham Cars, Northants for £3919 less a trade-in for her 1972 Ford Capri. Changed days indeed.
With minimal annual mileage Mrs Kelly had the car serviced every year by the dealership right up until 2010 and was then SORNED due to ill health.
The Panda was simply covered and garaged for the next 11 years until a family friend found and completely recommissioned the vehicle.
The bodywork is all straight and dent and rust-free with a respray in original light blue with steel wheels powder coated.
The Light Charcoal Grey check cloth trim is in wonderful condition with no rips or stains.
The carpets are like new, as is the dash with no marks or cracks.
The engine is the 999 cc 45bhp ‘FIRE’ unit (the same as in the 4×4 Panda) and the Panda fair gets along in pretty spirited fashion only weighing 750kg.
4 x new tyres recently fitted.
Service records and old MOT certificates indicate a genuine mileage of 36, 000 miles.
A full major service and safety check was carried out by my local classic car specialist garage which included a Timing Belt & Water Pump change and fitting of replacement rear axle.
The condition of this Fiat Panda is pretty impressive. It has obviously been loved and cared for throughout its life.
The car has original Main Dealer Number plates, Service book with stamps, Warranty Book and Original keys.
MOT expiry May 2025.
