Description
Triumph Tiger 90 1967 UK regstered bike from new and in very good condition for its age. Matching frame & engine numbers and as per the logbook. This bike has clearly been cherished over the years but it has been ridden and enjoyed.
It is being sold with an original workshop manual, a Haynes Manual, an original Owner’s Handbook, lots of receipts and other paperwork including copies of old M0Ts. Plus a box of useful tools, spares and original bits. Two ignition keys!
The last but one owner undertook an engine top-end rebuild with rebore, new pistons and valves in 2016. Also, it has had sensible upgrades including Morgo uprated oil pump and filtration change to car-type filter plus a very reliable Boyer Bransden electronic ignition and a twin leading shoe front brake.
Over the last year, it has had all new cables and most rubbers, all oils changed, new spark plugs, new air filter, new rocker covers, new tyres and tubes, a new battery and probably most significantly a shiny new Amal carburettor.
Usually easy to start, often first kick and rides very well. High-rise bars as seen that make it very comfortable and easy handling. V5c is in my name, bike is ‘road taxed’ as a historic vehicle at no cost. This is not a museum exhibit nor a garage queen but is all the better for that; you won’t be disappointed.
Viewing by arrangement at any reasonable time at PO12 Gosport in Hampshire. More photos or information on request, sensible offer considered.
