Bert Greeves MX4C Combination Challenger project bike.
This bike has been in my collection for a few years now.
It needs some recommission works to get it running, I think its just the MotoPlat electronic ignition that is the problem, it kicks over freely.
Other than that its a true historical Greeves motorcycle all together and a great thing to own, if you know your Greeves bike you'll already know this bike.
Understanding from previous owners of the bike, it was Bert Greeves' own vehicle which he had a special Watsonian sidecar unit fitted to and he used and owned the bike/ unit up until his end, which says a lot.
As with all bikes like this, you become its custodian and it needs a good understanding home.
Some paperwork and photos come with the bike, an old Buff Logbook noting Invacar as the first registered owner etc. Photos of Bert on it outside the factory and a couple of him stood next ti it in his elder years outside his home too.
I'm based in Guernsey, the bike is now registered locally, but the import process is a fairly easy process for the buyer to do.
Guernsey is easy to get too and from, flights are regular from Birmingham, Gatwick, Stansted, etc and ferries are available from Poole and Portsmouth too, should the buyer want to trailer it home.
Don't be afraid to message, it's definitely For Sale, make the call, or drop me an email or Chat on CandC. I won't be offended by sensible offers. What's Unique?
It was Bert Greeves' own Challenger Combination MX4C.
A very cool machine, can you see yourself going to the shows on this? It is certainly is different from the rest, and historical too.
