Description
Selling my vintage 1964 Peugeot D4B Coffee Van.
This has been professionally converted to a bespoke coffee van by Tudor Catering Trailers, who produce really high quality work (check out their reviews) and very different to an amateur conversion. It has had no expense spared and includes absolutely everything you need to start trading tomorrow. I have been running this as a high-volume coffee van for the last 2 years and can provide details on any aspect of this. There is literally absolutely everything you could need and it’s all ready to go. These vans are so rare - customers love it and so many people will come over just to talk to you about it. Event organisers like to have it at events because it’s so unique and charming which gives you an edge over competitors.
Included in the sale/ fit-out:
Fracino 2 group espresso machine (£4500). This is dual fuel meaning you can run it on gas or electric and it’s a workhorse! This allows the whole van to be run from a single extension lead if required when on gas (we ran this setup with a small griddle and high volume coffee and it worked great), or a small generator. But it also has the standard electric hookup to run it all on electric (through proper consumer unit etc.) or large generator. The coffee machine had a full service last year with everything that needed to be replaced sorted.
Eureka Zenith grinder (£600)
Sage grinder (used for decaf)
iPad Pro used as till
Card readers - I used a Sumup because they have the lowest fees and it was really reliable but also have a Zettle reader that can be used as a backup just in case
Large serving hatch on heavy duty gas struts, with flip out counter. At the rear, the 2 doors fold out and another counter fits over the top to give you additional serving space
AEG under counter fridge and freezer. Mini freezer for ice
Hot and cold running water, stainless double sink, all plumbing in great condition
LED lighting
Selection of milk frothing jugs (think there are around 10, including some coloured ones for different types of milk), tampers, stainless steel knock box, 2 handles
Fire extinguisher, gas regulator
Category S7 Tracker (top level - will reduce insurance cost)
1 large menu board, 1 A-shaped menu board, 2 other blackboards
4 wooden picnic benches in good condition and a handmade wooden bin!
Non slip flooring, easy clean cladding
I have sooo many other bits and pieces - weighing scales, bunting, loads of cleaning solution, spray bottles, water containers, 2x 47kg gas bottles (one is full), whiteboard markers, syrup dispensers, loads of food display items - glass domes/ acrylic cake display unit/ bamboo boards, catering first aid kit, griddle (we used to do bacon rolls), coloured chopping boards and knives, loads of tongs, price labels, whiteboard markers, thermos pump dispensers, fairy lights, neon coffee signs, I even have boxes of hundreds of paper cups/ lids/ stirrers, padlocks, wheel clamp, coolboxes, cash tray etc.! You will not need to spend money on anything else. Mechanically, it has nearly new tyres and had lots of engine bits replaced because it used to be driven around to festivals, however it hasn’t moved under it’s own steam for a while now because it was used in a static location. Most people (pretty much everyone in festival scene) trailer these around so I have never bothered to get it running but I can do this if interested. It’s tax and MOT exempt, registered in my name with full logbook.
The conversion has been well thought out and completed to a high standard - it made it very easy to achieve a 5 star hygiene rating. It would cost more than I’m asking just to convert a van to this spec with all of this kit, and these vans are also worth this sort of money without the conversion and kit, so please no silly offers.
I can assist with delivery if required. I can even sell you the company if it would help so that you have all the contacts, hygiene rating, instagram etc.
Any questions at all, please feel free to ask!
