Very rare timewarp Garelli Tiger 125 XRD. Almost unheard of in the UK with only a handful of examples registered with the DVLA. This bike is in very original condition throughout and with very minor reconditioning could be on the road in no time. I'd originally bought it with the intention of using it as a novelty entry in the Land's End Trial I just don't have time to do it justice and put it on the road. I've had it running and the Minarelli engine sounded beautiful, really crisp and responsive. Unfortunately it doesn't want to run for more than half a minute at a time and I've got so many other projects I've got to concede defeat and let it go so that I can concentrate on more pressing stuff.
It's in surprisingly good condition throughout and the suspension and brakes all function nicely, it will make a great first bike for a learner or could make an interesting green lane bike. It might also suit a Garelli Tiger Cross enthusiast looking for something a bit more substantial to sit on. These bikes have a strong following in Europe and vendors often ask three times what I'm asking so this could be an opportunity to buy a rare an interesting lightweight Italian bike for a very reasonable price.
