1979 Morris Marina 1300 HL
This incredibly original Morris Marina has only covered 4, 900 miles from new, known to be correct from several previous MOT certificates and documents on file. The car is a true time warp and is in a condition you would expect when it was a year old. The paintwork is still excellent, and the upholstery is like new and still smells like it did in 1979. The chrome is all lovely and bright and corrosion free.
Finished in gorgeous Inca yellow with a full length brown Webasto vinyl sunroof which is also still in a like new condition with no splits, rips or tears.
Wax oiled from new by the original dealership in Gloucestershire, Westgate Motor House Co (Gloucester) Ltd, prior to delivery to it’s 1st owner so as you would expect, the bodywork and chassis is in solid condition. The car still displays its original dealership numberplates.
It spent a good few years of its life in South Yorkshire Transport Museum as can be seen on Flickr.
Probably the lowest mileage Morris Marina on the road today, I can only describe this car as a one off.
The spare tyre is still the original one supplied with the car when new but the 4 tyres have been replaced with new ones in 2019. The 4 original ones were kept and will go with the car when sold.
The car drives without fault and will be sold with a new MOT.
