We will start with the bad bits as only 3 things-
- Paintwork good but not perfect and not original in all areas, slight cracking to bumper.
- Loud! Could be a positive or a negative depending on your preferences, but for me my next job was to be a custom exhaust.
- Recently developed supercharger belt squeak under load. Probably just needs tightening up.
Good bits -
-Engine swap with low mileage 1. 6, done at Northants MX5. New engine seals at the same time.
-Uprated Xtreme stage 1 clutch.
-M45 supercharger build put together at Northants MX5. Includes ME221 ECU, bosch EV14 640cc injectors, toyota coil pack. 17% reduction pulley. Producing around 190bhp.
-Nearly new MeisterR ZetaCRD suspension, grooved/ drilled front and rear discs, uprated pads, new rear calipers.
-Brand new genuine Mazda MX5 Panasonic Battery
-Rare dual tip flyin' miata exhaust back box
-Unique interior with yellow trim theme.
-Excellent condition rust wise. Arches still on original spot welds, sills still solid. No obvious areas of concern.

Just 800 examples were built with a unique specification. This model was only available in the unique Sunburst Yellow colour.
I have owned this car for 3 years and it’s my second MX-5 Mk1. It’s great fun to drive and handles brilliantly. Reluctantly selling after 10 years driving MX5s as I am no longer getting the use out of it that i should be. An appreciating classic that should give many more years of enjoyable motoring!
