Volvo 740 2. 3 GLE Estate.
Absolutely stunning Volvo 740 2. 3 GLE estate. B230e engine and only 84000 miles. Much admired, only four owners and a cherished, unrepeatable example. Mot, no advisories. The car is outstanding, no rust anywhere at all. Our local Volvo dealer said this is the best 740 he has seen in the 42 years he has been operating. It is as good underneath as on the top.
Car is much improved and I feel it is now spot on. Lots of history.
Split rims, new bilstein shocks and springs all round, adjustable panhard rod, the car corners flat. Headlining replaced. New digital pioneer stereo, new brake discs, pads, callipers all round. It has Evans waterless coolant now so that never needs replacing and never overheats. New fan and viscous fan coupling. All of the ignition parts are new so it runs like a dream and its had all the fluids changed, filters, belts etc. Waterpump and cambelt replaced. Fuel injector ‘o’ rings replaced, lower ball joints, full stainless steel exhaust. Sunroof. Being a GLE its all electric and they all work. All instruments work. The condition of the wagon is pretty much concours.
