Description
Saab 900 T16 Aero. 5th september 1984. This is the oldest known surviving flat front T16 according to my research as a saab c900 enthusiast. There is one (B500) manufactured a month earlier but registered later. So this is among the first aero's to be brought to the U. K. The first pic is not this car, just an example of how it could look. Has the fruity cams and very fast. Highly desirable in original black. Black custom interior. All parts present. Stood for many years by the previous owner it requires recommissioning / some easy restoration. It is unusually very solid in the usual weak areas. Sale due to no longer being able to justify having two 900's to my wife plus children at university means I won't get around to restoring this iconic car for some years. It was running on easy start when I purchased it 3 years ago. I believe the engine is free but it will need a fuel pump, and clutch - could just be no fluid. It needs a clean but the paint work comes up surprisingly well considering the age. see pics. I also have the original tri spoke aero wheels in addition to the optioned MSW cross spokes currently on it. Will need to be trailered away. These cars are highly desirable now and you won't find an older original T16 aero than this. Needs restoration inc 2 x doors and probably tail gate. Otherwise pretty solid. MOT and tax exempt from september. No service history, no mot history as was off the road. But low mileage of 112k. Sunroof wind deflector not included in the sale. This is an opportunity for a diy enthusiast to restore an iconic car which needs minimal welding, it will not be sold for parts or to a breaker. Youtube waking morty to see how it will look when finished. Not desperate to sell so no negotiation or time wasting please. If you want this particular flat front model, this is a rare opportunity. Thanks.
