Immaculate Convertible Volvo C70 T5 SE LUX - 2. 5ltr 5 Cylinder - Celestial Blue Pearl paintwork.
Selling on behalf of my Dad who just doesn't use it anymore.
Just two owners from new, the last being my Dad who purchased it from a Volvo main dealer and has owned it and pampered it, for the last 13 years. It has never been anywhere else other than Volvo for servicing and MOT's.
It has pretty much a full Volvo service history (see detailed list below) and will be sold following a fresh service and MOT both from Volvo. N. B. The MOT ran out in October 2023 and as the car was only being used in the summer months it hasn't been re-tested yet.
The car is a summer toy and lives most of the year under a cover in the garage, I honestly cannot remember the last time it ever went out in the rain.
As this is the SE Lux model it benefits from a number of options, including:
- Heated and Power (incl memory) Front Driver and Passenger Seats
- Auto dimming rear view mirror
- Cruise control
- Electric folding door mirrors
- High performance audio system
- Rain sensing wipers
- Front and rear park assist
- Headlamp cleaning system
- Volvo roll over protection system
Also benefits from the following extras:
- Wind deflector (unused)
- Space saver spare wheel
- SmartTop auto roof function (means you can open and close the roof remotely from the key as well as operating when moving)
The only bad points I can find with the car are as follows:
1) there is a very minor scuff on the drivers seat bolster, which could easily be fixed by a leather trimmer, just needs painting.
2) a small graze on the front bumper and wheel arch, it's not terrible, you don't really notice it. Again could easily be fixed by a Smart Repair person.
That really is it, everything works and runs as you would expect, this car is in excellent condition and is amazing given it is now 17 years old!

The car has been used sparingly, mainly for trips across Europe or the odd day out in the summer. It has rarely seen rain and has been pampered from the day my Dad picked it up. He has always had it serviced and MOT'd by Volvo, even going so far as to take out their annual servicing package. Every time he takes it in they always remark on what a lovely car it is and how it's the best C70 they've seen.
As you can see in the photos it has reams of bills and reciepts all from Volvo dating back over many years. It also has two keys and a volvo wind deflector still in the bag; I am honestly not sure Dad has ever used it.
Not long after my Dad bought the car we fitted a SmartTop remote operating module for the control of the convertible roof. This great gadget has worked faultlessly for all the years we owned it. It regularly stops people in their tracks as the car (seemingly on its own) carries out its party peace of dropping its 3 piece hard top into boot, in a marvellous display of engineering .... Looks like something out of Transformers!
As someone who is very picky about their cars I have always helped my Dad look after this car and I genuinely think you would be hard pressed to find a better example, this car is as close to perfect as you will find for a 17 year old car. I do not think anyone will be disappointed.
