The car has option pack 3 which means it's top of the range with all the options, including the top of the range big gun 5. 7 Tuned Port Injection engine, Delco Bose sound system, cruise control, air-conditioning, electric drivers seat, T-tops, 4 speed automatic overdrive transmission, gold package including gold emblems with gold wheels, largest available then 245 16 etc.
It's extremely rare to see an IROC-Z as original as this one and it won a trophy at the American Auto Club UK for the best car from the 1980's category.
I've owned the car for 12 years and have always maintained it to the highest standards.
This IROC-Z was imported from Alameda, California in August 2011 and I bought her in July 2014 and have loved every second of ownership. It had 42, 000 miles when I bought her and she now has 64, 500, I've tried my best to keep the mileage down.
The car looks and sounds great and is guaranteed to give her next owner an enormous amount of pleasure.
This car has loads of new parts plus a fully rebuilt transmission and torque converter, this was done by Alders Automotive Transmissions in East Sussex, regarded as the place to go for the 700R4.
The rebuild cost £3700 in November 2023, since then the car has covered just 2000 miles and is shifting better than ever.
