1971 Triumph TR6 PI 150bhp CP model with Overdrive
Lovingly restored over a number of years with every conceivable upgrade. No expense spared and all recorded. New chassis and ground up body restoration. File full of receipts including new hood, tonneau and hood cover. New black Moss seats and full carpet set. New injectors, poly bushes, springs, shocks, driveshafts, brakes & calipers, stainless steel exhaust the list goes on. PI pump overhauled with new seals. Bosch fuel pump. Lumenition ignition. Unleaded conversion and polished head. Tyres are decent, probably done less than 500 miles, a new premium battery was fitted earlier this year, great panel gaps.
I’ve found time to go through the receipts and the work done to this car is staggering. Please look at the spreadsheet printouts.
The car presents well and drives even better, pulling strongly through the gears and smoothly in and out of overdrive, all to the delicious straight six soundtrack. It deserves to be enjoyed. This was restored by a family member who has now passed away. This was his pride and joy, his widow is keen for it to be enjoyed by a new enthusiast. I have driven several miles in it and it is a joy. A very different experience to my Citroen DS20!
