Description
** Supercharged **
2014 BRZ 28, 800 miles only. 3 owners from new.
Bought in 2017 by my friend, who had a Harrop Supercharger professionally installed by Abbey Motorsport for £6000. Australian tuning company Harrop designed a bespoke installation for the BRZ blower that makes the installation look like a factory fitment.
I acquired the car in May 2022, in December 2022 I had an uprated Exedy Stage 1 clutch fitted, and the Supercharger inspected by Abbey Motorsport. There's plenty of documentation with the car.
It's a blast to drive, having a similar power to weight ratio of a Porsche Cayman of the same vintage but with Japanese running costs. I have a Dyno certificate for 247 HP at the wheels (around 295 at the crank). Since my friend bought it at 13, 000 miles it has had 6 oil changes, an average of 2, 700 miles between.
Sadly after two years of ownership and very few miles, I have come to the point where I need to give up work completely and have to reduce my overheads, so the Scooby has to go. It's in excellent condition inside and out with no structural damage, there are a few light scratches are too inconspicuous to photograph. Any inspection welcome but no test drives except as a passenger.
Fully comp insurance for the last two years was £500 through Keith Michaels
All the original hardware removed for the supercharger installation is included with the car.
Please call for more details. Looks great. Handles like it's on rails. Instant acceleration.
Being a 2+2 it feels quite airy in side unlike an MX5 which I found claustrophobic. Fold down rear seats give a surprisingly large boot. Shared mechanicals with the Toyota GT85 (also made by Subaru) but more exclusive and in my opinion slightly better looking front end.
