Excellent IRISH Jag MKII.- This beautiful IRISH Jag MkII is in very original condition. I have owned it for nearly 20 years. Starts and runs well. Has been garaged for the past 15 years but not used much. Hence I am selling now so someone else might get more from this amazing car.
This Jag was imported to Ireland and built in 1967 (in order to lower the Import Duties) and the original license plate tells it is an Irish Car - in addition, the Jag logo in the top of the Gear Shift was replaced with an Irish Farthing Coin to mark its Irish Heritage.
While there are some minor paint issues, some bubbling (2 Doors & Boot), the vast majority of this car is in very good condition. The underside is in reasonable to good condition - it will probably require a driver's side sill repair / replacement.
The Spoke Wheels have been painted but would be worth reconditioning. I have the release key for the spoke wheel hub and the original tool box for the car.
The interior is in reasonable to good condition but will need a carpet replacement.
The wood trim on the interior is in good condition.
Whoever buys this car will have so much pleasure tinkering with the small bits and pieces that need to be done and will really enjoy the drive and feel of the car.
As you will see from the photos, I had it resprayed some time ago and it now needs a little bit of touching up here and there. There are some minor scratches and some bubbling on 2 doors and the boot lid. All, in all it is a fantastic car.
It always turns heads.
