Selling my 1978 Ducati 750 Super Sport, this is one of the first 100 Black and Gold Bikes imported into UK as commissioned by Coburn and Hughes with the now rare colour scheme.
This bike has been recommissioned over the last two years, after being little used following a full engine rebuild by UK Ducati Specialist Paul Klatkiewicz of Ducati Technical Services.
The FULL receipted engine rebuild shows that virtually every component has been replaced including conrods, pistons bearings etc, and includes the engine cases and heads being vapour blasted. The Bike runs the original Bosch Ignition, the internal wires to the pickups in perfect condition. It sounds like a Desmo Ducati should, the whirring of Bevel drives, and Exhaust’s.
The front Shaved Brembo Brake callipers have been professionally refinished by Paddy Ducati in Ceracote with new Pistons and Pads.
The Metal Banjo lines are new fed by new stainless lines.
The Front Mudguard is period correct / new from Meadspeed.
The Tyres are Avon Roadrider, both New.
The Voxbell horn is new.
The Chain is new.
The Yuasa AGM battery is new.
The Bike is currently in Road/ Touring spec so fitted with completely refurbished 36mm dell Orto Carbs with chokes and New exhaust system with new old stock Selentium silencers. Most experienced owners know that these bikes give better road performance with this configuaration
A set of 40mm Dell Orto carbs and a pair of Stainless Conti Replicas by Keihan systems are also included should you prefer.
Rear Shocks are adjustable IKON units.
Nuts and bolts are all Stainless.
The bike has had it's original dangerous Speedline wheels replaced by FPS items.
