We have owned this Citroen GS Pallas since March 2017.
Prior to our ownership, the previous owner had just had the engine rebuilt by Chevronics (GS specialist in Hitchin, Hertfordshire) and needed to sell the car to pay the bill!
Since then the car has had a lot spent on the bodywork, (considerably more than the sale price), including welding to the underside including new floors, and full cavity rustproofing, also by Chevronics. The car was subsequently repainted in 2021.
The car is now in a very good way, very presentable and reliable however the next step requires attention to the interior. While the driver's seat has been resprung and repaired sufficiently to be comfortable and supportive, all seats could do with recovering (see photos). This could be done by Chevronics, who did the basic repair, for a not-at-all unreasonable cost.
The car averages 35mpg.
Selling since we have eight older Citroens, two of which are GS's! We need to cut down the fleet. Car comes with a Boyer Bransden electronic ignition kit. If the successful buyer wishes, and if the asking price is met, I will endeavor to fit this prior to collection.
Lots of history with the car. The car is of course tax, MoT and ULEZ exempt being a historic vehicle.

Come and view the car in Swanley, Kent by arrangement. Could also bring the car to Caterham, Surrey by arrangement. Happy to drive you around in the car but if you wish to test drive it yourself, please bring proof of insurance with you. Mileage will increase as car continues in use. The Citroen GS is the only classic Citroen to combine two key features Citroen were developing; olio-pneumatic suspension and air-cooled boxer engines. Accomodated within a relatively modern, aerodynamic monocoque body with plenty of integral crash safety, the Citroen GS is in my opinion the best, and most 'Citroen', Citroen ever produced. It is only a shame they are overshadowed by the DS and 2cv, both great vehicles themselves.
