Privately acquired. I transported this car up to Scotland from Portsmouth over 3 years ago and have since completed roughly 7k miles in that time, mostly always longer road trips. A true 'Summer Car' this TT has been stored meticulously indoors throughout its life and is only driven when the weather and road conditions favour it.
As for servicing and repairs, not an inch has been spared. With a full service history and every receipt documented from 2007 onwards, it's fair to say this car has had an impressive amount of GBP spent on it when required.
If you're looking for solid Mk1 TT that has been loved its entire life, look no further. Something like this is rare in the UK, never mind trying to find one like this in Scotland.
My partner and I have enjoyed countless road and camping trips in my little TT, you wouldn't think it but my gosh the size of that boot, you could practically live in it...! Okay, maybe not quite live in it, but you wouldn't believe the amount of gear you can get in it even being a convertible. We are both incredibly sad to be doing this, but due to my career I will ultimately lose the time and ability to manage two vehicles and we have had our fun with her. I will desperately miss the Quattro system, what an absolute joy and quality piece of engineering that is, I would say that is my favourite thing about the car. Do you remember what it feels like when you went go karting as a child? What a rush!
