2023: New exhaust catalytic converter, anti roll linkages, ignition coils
2021: New lower wishbones, brake pipes, clutch slave cylinder.
Car drives nicely, is very well planted and the engine and gearbox are all good. This car has been very well looked after and although it is currently due an interim service, it has been thoroughly loved and looked after.
Car has optional air conditioning upgrade pack - life saver.
The car has age-related scratches, bumps, small dents and a couple of cracks in the rear bumper (shown on pictures) as is to be expected for a 26 year old car! There are small patches of rust at the lower edges of the arches however these are superficial and not structural. One of the alloys is a replacement and is of different design to the others (which are tricky to get hold of). Tires in okay condition.
This is an honest, loved car that has plenty of miles in it yet. This future classic is what embodies the 1990s Volvo. A practical, family estate which was no bigger than it needed to be. The soft seats, assured ride and unstressed petrol engine all make this car feel like a Volvo should: practical yet refined.
