This Grom is something special having had £3, 830. 11 spent on upgrades, servicing and MOTs, and that’s over and above the original purchase price. That’s £913. 21 on yearly services and MOT’s and £2, 916. 90 on upgrades and modifications, and then another £2, 600 on the new price in 2013 – so that’s a total spend of £6, 430. 11 on this bike. The 181cc upgrade was carried out by Armadillo Customs in Rayne, near Braintree in Essex.
The valuable private registration number K9 MSX is registered to the bike and included in the sale, and the original registration number is known, so if you want to obtain it and register it back on the bike, and sell the K9 MSX private registration number that can be done.
It’s covered just 1, 882 genuine miles from new which is backed up by the MOT certificates and service records which I have. I also have the original tool kit, stamped service record, owner’s booklet, Honda service CD and Datatag. It comes with 2 original keys.
Also included in the sale are the original engine parts, original seat, original exhaust, original front brake and clutch levers, and the original Kitaco boxes and other packaging. There is also a 29L genuine Honda top box and carrier fitted.
I can recommend a chap who can collect bikes and deliver all over the country and his service is just brilliant.
This bike is in absolutely first-class condition and rides perfectly. The performance is astounding – just as you would expect with such a brilliant upgrade / setup.
I’m possibly one of the oldest Grom riders at 61 years of age, but riding this bike makes me feel as young as I was back in the 1980’s. I do miss my classic bikes though, so I’m only selling this to buy something from that era. I know I’ll regret selling this bike, but my younger years are calling me
