Very solid car underneath, with no rust. It rives Very Well Indeed, the Gearbox is Super Smooth. It’s a Very Nice Solid Example.
Cosmetically – paintwork is in very good order. Nothing I see that would need addressing.
Interior is very good and clean, driver side seat has a tear in the seat which could be repaired.
The most recent service was carried out in February 2022, with a full service including new spark plugs, HT leads, engine oil and filters, the carburettors cleaned and readjusted, a new distributor, and the power steering pump overhauled. It has completed less than 100 miles since having all this work done.
In Dec 2015, approximately 7, 000 miles ago it had an engine rebuild with; new Pistons, the Crank Overhauled, Main bearings, new Water Pump, new Oil Pump, Big End Bearings, Top and Lower Timing Chain and guide.
Original factory colour was blue but it was resprayed in 1997 and now finished in White.
The factory specification includes a wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel, Smiths gauges, variable-speed electric windscreen wipers, push-out front and rear quarter light windows, and a locking glove compartment.
The car comes with the original owner’s maintenance and service handbook, an extensive folder of history, the first registration documentation, and the original jack.
