For sale is my 1973 VW type 2 campervan. Devon conversion. I bought this to restore for my wife 9years ago and due to our age and health we have decided to purchase 1 done. They are expensive!!!.
So here it is straight out of the barn after 9 years. At the time it had a 1600 twin port engine fitted with new clutch, new distributor, new exhaust, new carb and new bumpers. It comes with a new alternator kit from Just Kampers cost £280 because the dynamo does not charge. I have'nt tried to get it running again thats down to the new owner but engine gearbox all good , engine turns over by hand fine. Bodywork is extremely solid with excellent gutters, front panel has had some welding at the bottom. and maybe needs a s/ hand drivers door but it could be repaired.
