Running 1972 Bedford Cf Hawson (original) conversion parcel van 2. 3 petrol engine slant 4
Ulez, MOT and tax exempt
Had for nearly 2 years been using as run around to deliver goods in london got v5 in my name
Great shape and runs well but like any old car though there are more things to do and tweak, but it’s running and working
Chassis in great condition and solid as it was dry stored for 20years prior to me getting it, it ran when I purchased it but needed tweaking as had sat for a long time.
since buying the van I’ve done the below
Oil change (Castrol)
New brake cylinders and shoes
New lightweight starter motor
New coil
New electric ignition
Power Flushed the radiator and cooling
New fuel line
Stripped and rebuilt fuel pump
Replaced cork Rocker head cover gasket
New plugs and leads
New distributor cap
2 new front tyres less then 50 miles
New battery
Set the timing
Got some Spares not fitted yet, new fan and cam belts. I also have an electric cooling fan I bought but not attached to the radiator yet.
Love the van and really don’t want to sell but situations have changed and now not using as much as I was.
