Description
This is a very nice, well built Historic Road Rally Car that is ready to use on regularity rallies in the UK or Europe. The shell was fully stripped and then strengthened, seam welded and a welded in full roll cage fitted. The 1900 Fuel Injected Engine has been fitted with a Manta B 2 litre head, a Kent 234 profile cam, Kent uprated valve Springs, Kent Vernier timing pulley and Kent cam followers. It has a 4 speed gearbox and a Manta 4. 2 Plated LSD Axle with a steel torque tube. The suspension has been poly bushed with Bilstein Dampers front and rear. Opel Rekord/ Astra GTE calipers and vented discs have been fitted at the front, new drums and an hydraulic handbrake at the rear. All the Fuel and brake lines are routed through the car with the fuel tank and battery located in the boot. The interior has OMP competition seats, 4 point harnesses, Brantz Pro 2 trip and clock with driver displays for both time and distance. The car sits on ATS Opel Alloys with Hankook gravel tyres.
Having only competed on one HERO Challenge event the car is in very good condition with many new components fitted when the car was originally built. Included in the sale is a large spares package.
