Description
It has been partially restored at Retropower in Hinckley. The body has been fully restored to the highest standards and all metal work carried out can be seen on their Facebook restoration page for the vehicle.
It is presently a rolling shell.
Originally red the shell was painted period metallic green. Unfortunately thé paint has blistered in storage. The boot and drivers door have been prepped ready for painting, however the car does not have passenger door and bonnet (beyond repair), it was a fully running mot’d vehicle before the start of the restoration project and all parts were boxed or stored on disassembly, however over the years these have been moved numerous times so not in the best condition. The original fuel tank is not present but I had a stainless steel replacement made which is included.
All glass, engine, gearbox, seats, dash and door cards are present.
The restoration which unfortunately stalled on numerous occasions, had been carried out completely by retropower to their high standards but I have decided I will not get it completedPerfect opportunity to start a restoration project without the months of welding, replacing and filling rotten metalwork.
A blank canvas to make the car of your own.
