This excellent example of the now very sought after L322 was supplied new by Lookers, West London in the desirable colour combination of Java Black over Sand. Being an 06 model it comes with the superior Jaguar V8 petrol engine and the much improved ZF 6 speed transmission, which does away with the worries associated with the earlier L322 5 speed transmission. With regular servicing the Jaguar unit is capable of extremely high mileage, and doesn't suffer from the timing chain guide issues and oil leaks that plagued the earlier BMW engines. Incredibly, this example is totally rust free underneath, with no previous MOT advisories for underbody corrosion. At a guess, I'd estimate that almost nine out of ten early L322's have an MOT advisory for underbody or subframe corrosion issues. It comes with a full service history, with the last service (major) carried out at 88, 000 miles. There are a couple nicks and marks on the body as to be expected after 18 years, but otherwise it presents itself as a really nice rust free example of an L322. ULEZ exempt and recently MOT'd.
