Offered for sale is one of the very last L322 examples built, a December 2012 registered Westminster Edition in Aintree Green, with full, comprehensive service history and unique and desirable optional extras such as rear reclining seats, a wooden steering wheel and Style 19 Diamond turned wheels, standard only on an Autobiography.
Production of the L322 finished in July 2012, with the factory being shut down and refitted in August to make way for the L405, making this example one of the final examples to leave Solihull.
With over £6000 spent on elective and preventative works, and more than 500 miles driven in our ownership of several months, it is now checked, tested and ready for its new custodian.
It has benefitted from the following works:

- Full paint correction and two stage machine polish
Supplied by Stratstone Land Rover Mayfair, ML62 MPY has full Land Rover Main Dealer and independent specialist servicing exclusively. It is accompanied by a fully stamped service portfolio which is completely full, alongside a folder of invoices.
As with all L322 we sell, ML62 MPY has an excellent MOT history with not a single advisory in the last 4 years.
On top of this and crucially where it really matters on the L322, it has never had an advisory, defect or mention whatsoever of rust to sills, jacking point, arches, body, or front or rear subframe which sadly on this model is becoming an ever more common issue. Cumulatively this can be very expensive to rectify and can often be pervasive.
We are extremely conscious of undercarriage condition, and normally will not entertain the purchase or sale of examples with MOT advisories in the past showing corrosion to any sills, subframes, arches or jacking points. Minor surface corrosion and singular, but not persistent MOT advisories can be overcome however if the rest of the vehicle is in good order. This vehicle as aforementioned however has no such mentions over its entire MOT history and we have conducted the preventative maintenance required to keep it that way.
Mechanically, power and torque from the twin turbocharged 4. 4 TDV8 with its 119k miles is immense. The gearbox is smooth and the air suspension works quickly and as desired in arrival mode, normal ride height and off road height. Shod with General Grabber AT3 tyres with a 55 profile, the ride is superb on road, plus, the driver has full confidence in off piste driving throughout the year. These are by far our tyre of choice and are not only more capable and give a better ride, but are slightly better value than the Pirelli Scorpion.
Things to consider - Anyone test driving a similar example must push the car hard above at least 2750 rpm in order to engage the second, sequential turbo when the vehicle has reached operating temperature.
Under heavy load, doing so ensures that both turbos and turbo actuators are performing well. Similarly, that there are no cracks, either big or small with the inlet manifold or intercooler pipes. Either of these issues will result in ‘restricted performance’ due to sensors recognising the loss of vacuum and too much air in the system.
This is an incredibly well specified and optioned very late Westminster edition in an extremely desirable colour combination with full service history, comprehensive works undertaken, and has been thoroughly tested and inspected by ourselves and drives superbly.
Clear glass conversion is possible as desired at additional cost.
