2. 5-litre 'M114' straight-six, taken from a W123-era 250, which produces around 148bhp and drives the rear wheels via a perfectly smooth 4 speed automatic gearbox.
Supplied new in January 1971 by C. Sidney Ltd of Thornton Road, Bradford. The history file also contains a huge amount of bills and invoices dating back many years, original drivers handbook and the very important service book containing 20 Stamps from C. Sidney Mercedes up to 1980. Most recently over £9000 has been spent to include lots of mechanical and professional paint work.
