1971 911T 2. 2 Targa imported from the US in 2019.
The car was in good overall condition, without rust or damage, retaining its original white paint. The restoration process began with a bare-metal outer repaint , while the interior was preserved as it did not require intervention.
Welding work on the body where necessary, repairing any imperfections and repainted in its original white color.
All metallic components & chromes were removed and refurbished.
The exterior & interior were completely refreshed, including door & window seals, trims and gaskets. The Targa top was replaced with a new one due to wear from age.
Additionally, four new Fuchs wheels were installed, maintaining the car’s period-correct appearance.
During the restoration, the engine was removed, disassembled and fully overhauled. The transmission was also removed, disassembled, rebuilt from scratch, and fitted with a new set of synchronizers.
Throughout this extensive restoration process, the suspension and brakes were fully overhauled. All mechanical components were removed, cleaned, repaired where necessary, and meticulously reinstalled. This included the steering system, suspension components, transmission elements, exhaust system, and braking circuit.
Car drives beatifully can be a daily drive with no issues.
All documentation is available and correct.
