1971 911T 2. 2 Targa imported from the US in 2019.
The car was in good overall condition, accident free and only minor rust spots were visible, retaining its original white paint.
The restoration process began stripping the car into bare-metal and body thorougly cleaned.
New exterior paint was applied while the interior was preserved as it did not require much intervention.
Very little welding work was required on the body repairing any imperfections. The vehicle was repainted in its original white color.
All metallic components & chromes were removed and refurbished.
The exterior trim & interior were completely refreshed, including door seals, window seals and trim. The Targa top was replaced with a new one due to wear from age.
Additionally, four new Fuchs wheels were installed, maintaining the car’s period-correct appearance.
The engine was removed, disassembled and fully overhauled. The transmission was also removed, disassembled, rebuilt from scratch, and fitted with a new set of synchronizers.
All mechanicals components were refurbished in detail and all electrics checked and repaired.
Car drives beautifully can be a daily drive with no issues.
All documentation is available and correct.
