REVOLUTIONARY Despite its high-riding look, this small but spacious Peugeot 201 was in fact a revolution in the French automobile industry. Produced from 1929 to 1937, it was the first car equipped with independent front wheels, which gave it better road holding. The 201 was powered by a 1, 122 cm³ engine developing 23 hp at 3, 500 rpm (top speed : 80 km / h ) , then by a 1, 307 cm³ engine , and finally by a 1, 465 cm³ of 35 hp . This particular 201 was restored over the course of years as a hobby.
