Bodywork is straight, couple of dents in the roof. Bulkhead is solid, as is the chassis - it needs a couple of localised repairs and it isn't covered in wax oil hiding any potential bodge jobs! Doors need adjusting - drivers door doesn't close properly, may well be easier to replace the drivers door.
It has been hand painted before, typically, but looks like a 'patina' finish. Panels are straight!
Interior is reasonable - Seats are good, floors solid bar one tiny 20p sized hole in the passenger floor.
Drivers window needs sorting as it pops out with the runner.
Reverse spring needs replacing as it just goes over without any force.
Overall, a generally solid Series III needing some love and attention - They are fetching good money now, so it's a good investment as I've seen a lot worse with 'better' paint sell for double!
** Please note this is NOT a Defender 90 with a TDI engine.. It is the original 2. 25 Diesel, so if you're not familiar it is worth researching. This isn't the one to paint a modern black or grey!**
