A 1st generation CBR600F in great condition, This original example is one of the last of the first generation in arguably the most desirable and certainly the best colour scheme has only 54k miles recorded. A Retro/ Classic for investment or daily use and even by todays standards it is a useable quick bike and super reliable. Very few of these early model bikes have survived in their original form, this one has evaded being modified or raced like so many of them had, it’s a perfect combination of being showable yet useable. Fully adjustable suspension means customising the ride to your needs is a doddle. Loads of power, plenty of torque but forgiving of the odd wrong gear or rider hiccup: it’s a ball to ride.
Some reckon the Honda CBR600F’s engine is very slightly lacking in midrange but, for the average rider, there’s a lot of very useable power. The fuel injection can make for juddery starts on cold mornings but, once up to temperature, it’s as smooth as a baby’s bum. To coin a massively-used but highly appropriate (in this instance) cliché: it’s bullet-proof.
They also hold their value fairly well, which is pretty unusual for a ubiquitous machine. The Honda CBR600F is a lot cheaper than rival 600s Its everyday usability works in its favour for many buyers. Find a Honda CBR600F for sale.
Dual seat, grab rail, centre stand… It sounds like a roll call for a big, dull tourer but the Honda CBR600F has them all, running alongside its sportier credentials. The dash is clear and clean with a fuel gauge, clock and digital speedo. Mirrors are good and there’s enough room under the seat for some waterproofs.
