The Yamaha TZR250, introduced in 1986, is a sports motorcycle powered by a 249cc two-stroke parallel-twin engine, inspired by the Yamaha TZ250 race bike. The model featured the Yamaha Power Valve System (YPVS), which adjusted exhaust port timing based on engine speed, delivering approximately 45 hp in standard form. The TZR250 was produced until 1995 and came in various versions, including the 3MA with reversed cylinders and the 3XV with a 90° V-twin engine.
