It had the sills replaced by the owner that imported the car, back in 2015. He did a good job of it. The car was also painted black at the same time. The paint job is good, everything was painted including the engine bay.
It’s a 40 year old car and there are a few minor issues, I believe the alternator belt needs replacing as it squeals upon cold start for the first 10 seconds then disappears.
The rev counter and temp gauge doesn’t work, I believe the cluster needs a new chip in the back of it, doesn’t seem expensive or difficult to replace.
I’ve only had the car for around 3 months, have been using as a daily driver, however my wife doesn’t like the face there is no AC or creature comforts for winter hence the sale. I have an e30 so I’m not completely giving up on classics :)
It’s a 1984 car so due to be tax and MOT exempt come 31st of December.
