Moto Guzzi California 111 the last generation of carburettor models, registered to me, on SORN, loads of old Mot's etc but not ridden for a few years so will need a little DIY attention to put back on the road.
Its a genuinely good bike that you can hear running, the last 2 pictures were taken on the 25-01-2025 and she sounds great but needs a new battery, front indicators refitting plus the front tyre needs replacing .
As a precaution I'd recommend all fluids are replaced, the riders seat recovered plus the decorative chrome covers and rear crash bars that come with the bike could be refitted. To sum up, with time spent on a little DIY attention and a thorough clean up you'll end up with a model of a really good looking bike that's known to be capable of reliably covering many thousands of touring miles.
Should it be of interest I've 2 lots of bike luggage for sale. Viewing will not be possible until the end of the first week in February as we are away from the 27 Jan !The Tonti framed Guzzi's are legendary and this one will be as good as they get with just a little TLC, as a bonus the early California's seem to be becoming quite sort after and are rightly increasing in value.
