Description
2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2. 7 CRD auto
MoT February 2026. Diesel 4WD. Leather 5 seats. Electric front seats (driver has 2 memory functions linked to keys). 2 keys. Heated front seats. Aircon. Multifunction computer. Electric heated mirrors. Cruise control. Multi-speaker Stereo. High / Low range 5 speed automatic. Service history. 102, 600 miles approx. Vehicle currently in occasional use so mileage will periodically creep up a bit until sale. Towbar with single electrics. Reversing sensors. Upper opening tailgate (extremely useful). New Turbo. Drive belt in good condition. Sensible price to sell but the price gets you a lot of car for the money. This is the second time I have owned a Grand Cherokee. Roomy, comfortable and will eat the miles on a run through Europe. This one is fitted with the much economical 2. 7CRD engine from Mercedes. These cars are getting rare now "How many left" suggests under 600 of this variant left on the road but being a Mercedes engine (the same as used in their vans) it has long life and good parts availability. This one is a good family workhorse. Not a parade queen but an honest Jeep that keeps going, and is full of character. But if I love it so, why am I getting rid? Disability. Whilst I can still drive the Jeep at the moment, it is becoming more problematic for me to drive and rather than let it rust away only being used very rarely, it deserves to go and have a new chapter in its life. No, it doesn't have a completely clean MoT but it is a long one and by and large the items to monitor have been unchanged for a long while so not actually deteriorating. After discussions with my mechanic, the price asked reflects a good contribution towards these items and after all, wouldn't you rather purchase a car knowing what it needs?
