BMW 540i 6 speed manual in Oxford Green metallic. Originally supplied by Hexagon London. Fantastic condition belies it's 30 years and really is as good as it gets for an E34 that you'd actually drive on UK roads.
In manual form, nearly as fast as an M5 but with oodles of torque from that 4. 0 V8, relatively narrow hipped and light by today's standards, effortless cruising on the Autobarn into 3 figures (if that's your thing!) yet possible to return over 30mpg. The exhaust note is cultured and refined and it's a lovely thing to waft about in.
The condition is excellent and rust free it presents like a car 20 years younger! The toolkit is complete and the first aid kit under the passenger seat still in its wrapping. Complete manual pack and service book and ALL FOUR KEYS present.
Kept in a dehumidified garage and previous owner professionally stored over the winters.

Converted from auto in 2015 including instrument cluster which was later reprogrammed to the correct mileage. Otherwise a very original car without silly wheels and other upgrades. Still has original dealer fit 1990s radio and tape deck!Much expenditure Dec 2024 including four new Uniroyal tyres, rear Bilstein dampers, rear discs, pads all round, major Inspection II service including fuel filter, plugs and brake fluid change, new BMW E60 shifter rod with genuine BMW ZHP knob.

An exceptionally well cared for car, with full continuous service history with stamps in the book and invoices. Bodywork excellent aside from usual stone chips on bonnet (it is 30 years old) and a small dink in the passenger door which I think Dent Devils would sort. Not the usual flanks peppered in car park damage.
No rust underneath and backed by a clean MOT history (serviceable items aside) you are welcome to inspect on my scissor lift.
