Full nut and bolt restoration £1000s spent.
New plastics, frame powder coated, wheels refurbished, Tank refurbished, Full engine re-build and so much more. 80cc Polini Bigbore Kit, Big one exhaust, new seat cover. Basically a brand new bike. Many of the parts are genuine new Yamaha. Speedometer is reading in Km as I bought a brand new odometer from Sweden. Bought this bike as a fixer upper as I wanted to fund a full restoration. This was carried out by a professional and not myself. Both engine and frame numbers are matching.
I wanted to keep this as a showbike/ investment piece but to be honest I’m bored of staring at it now and it’s just taking up space in my garage. I do not ride other than up and down my street every now and then just to run it.
