Bucket seat interior
One of only 1450 Eldorado built in 1961, figures suggest only 6 percent had bucket seats.
1961 was the last year for the proper hard back buckets as used in the 58 Bonneville and 59/ 60 Eldorado.
Factory ordered with buckets as denoted B on the trim tag.
Factory black car.
Solid good running and driving car
Older paint has some blemishes.
Seats, door panels and carpet were just redone.
Decent black canvas convertible top.
Motor was freshened up five years ago, new cam, timing chain, lifters etc, it runs great, it’s a great driving car.
At the same time the brakes were gone through, new exhaust , new tyres.
The car is not perfect but it’s a good solid driver you can improve as you go.
61 Eldos are on the up as 59 and 60 Eldorados become unobtainable. One sold on Bring A Trailer recently for $125k, no bucket seats and not original colour.
