1969 Triumph TR6. Matching numbers car with Heritage Certificate. Selling my lovely rare early build Jasmine Yellow TR6. Owned nearly 9 years and imported by me from the USA through a friend. In this time the car has slowly been brought back to exceptional condition both bodily and mechanically with the original fully rebuilt engine, lovely light clutch and original 4 speed rebuilt gearbox. All running gear, suspension etc has either been reconditioned or renewed. This is a survivor car, that drives beautifully. The body never having been removed from the perfect chassis. The new paint was colour matched to the original floor. All panels, floors, inner and outer wings, doors and sills are original. The boot lid had corrosion on the bottom edge so was replaced with new. The car wants for nothing which is evident on inspection. This is a one year only model with amongst other unique features includes stainless beading on the rear wings and fold down headrests. Dashboard layout as TR5/ 250. I do have the refurbished hood frame and nearly new hood together with new full and quarter tonneau, but never used. The very desirable and rare factory hardtop with Weathershields sliding roof obviously comes with the car, which I've always preferred. Having one or two mobility problems now, but together with 5 brand new tyres this car is ready to enjoy immediately. First to come and view will buy. Needs to be seen. Would consider a cheaper more accessible pre '84 car in part exchange if that helps.
