1979 XS650 Flat track custom, owned since 2013 and covered 8500miles in my ownership.
The bike was rebuilt by the previous owner, who rebuilt the engine and made lots of one off parts. These include stainless - exhausts, clock surround, chain guard and rear nuberplate mount.
Also made seat unit and side panels, refurbished Marzocchi shocks, fitted RD400 rear mag wheel, to match from 650 mag wheel and fork damper unit from USA.
Since my ownership, have replaced the electrical starter, electrical system, CDI ECU ignitor, boyer 12v dual output coil. Also alternator rotor and stator from Mike's XS in the states.
Electrex World regulator rectifier, new carb manifolds and pod filters K&N.
NOTE there is a blister in the paintwork on the L/ H side, pleases photo.
This is a stunning looking one off bike that gets lots of attention when I do ride it.
