Description
This 1995 Honda CB 400 Super Four has been my first bike, and it's taken me all around the UK and Europe. It's reliable, fun, and sits nicely in the classic category, which helps keep insurance premiums down. It's also a great option for new riders, since it's lightweight and easy to handle whilst still giving enough power to have some fun.
I'm regrettably having to sell it after transitioning to a classic Land Rover Defender, which is now taking up most of my time (and driveway).
Key Features:
- Ideal for beginners - smooth handling, reliable performance, and manageable power.
- Full service history, with the latest service completed in April 2024. Little riding has been done since.
- MOT from March 31st, 2025.
- Always run on E5 fuel with a drop of Redex to maintain clean carbs, which were serviced after purchase in 2023.
- Includes 2 Oxford F1 50L panniers, custom-adapted to fit securely on the bike for additional storage. Also features under-seat storage, which can hold locks, tools, and other bits.
- Heated grips.
- Full tank of fuel included so ready to ride away.
- Free local delivery available.
Known Issues:
- The fuel gauge is dodgy, so I rely on the odometer for tracking fuel. Expect roughly 200 km per tank before hitting reserve (depending on riding style). I reset the odometer with every refill for tracking.
This is a well-maintained, road-ready bike with loads of character and practicality. Whether you’re looking for a commuter, a tourer, or your first step into motorcycling, the CB400 has you covered.
