Description
1959 BSA DBD34GS · Driven 10, 000 kilometres
SELLING A BEAUTIFUL BSA GOLDSTAR.
This machine as been owned by a 80+ year old gent for 14 years and as not been neglected or abused by him. He has had to sell this because he has gone into a care home and has no use for it anymore so it was sold to myself
His name is on the v5c but before he owned it the previous owner had it from new in 1959
The v5c shows one previous owner since 1959
The motorcycle itself is a original factory paired numbers bike
Now for the specification I can describe
A 1959 BSA goldstar dbd34 500cc motorcycle
Originally a Clubman's but the elderly owner had the handlebars changed to touring ones so he could still carry on riding it into his 80s
I have sourced out a set of clip ons for the machine
It is a two owner machine from new
Dunlop alloy wheels WM 2 with stainless spokes
New/ reconditioned Mag Dyno
RRT2 gearbox
rides great
It has it's original registration number 3 letter 3 numbers
It's got the original pairing factory engine and frame numbers
A lightened front alloy hub which I believe is from a BSA spitfire
The carburettor is a monoblock but I am trying to source the original carburettor from the previous owners family as i forgot to load the small box of parts that were with the machine. Whether they will forward onto me is another question but I have asked. I can't go back to the previous owners family address as it's 250 miles plus away from myself
Everything is working great. lights horn brakes clutch etc
It had not been started for a while so it had sumped so I've quickly drained and she fired up straight away.
I've took her out for a quick run and all the gears are good.
Excellent oil return
A classic BSA. V5 present along with receipts for work done to it
A great investmentIt's a factory paired numbers machine on its original registration number from 1959 and condition is out of 100 a good 95
