Description
Here I have for sale my Dad’s BSA Gold Star, I’m selling this on his behalf due to him giving up motorcycling and therefore it's lack of use, the V5 is present and in his name. Also included is file of bills & receipts from his ownership and beyond, including the original buff logbook.
My Dad’ has owned this bike for nearly 20years and in that time it has had occasional and limited use.
It is in ‘Clubman’s’ trim, has and has a RRT2 Gearbox. It hasn’t been ‘Sanitised’ with electric start or a different carb, it remains in original spec.
Overall the bike is in great condition, with a nice level of patina, it is not an over restored trailer queen, but a very useable example of an iconic bike. I have ridden quite a few miles on it, including on the Isle of Man which felt like it’s spiritual home and it rides just as a Goldie should. It pulls well and makes a lovely sound and always attracts a crowd wherever you go.
It is priced to sell at £11, 495
Viewing is welcome, however no test rides without proof of Insurance & cleared funds in my account for the full asking price, no exceptions.
Happy to discuss the bike as I’m sure there are details that I have missed.
Thanks for looking.
