Looking for a true British classic that turns heads and drives like a dream?
Feast your eyes on this 1971 Triumph Stag Mk1 – a beautifully proportioned V8-powered grand tourer, lovingly restored with over £14, 000 invested in recent years.

This car combines refined road presence with period-correct details, retaining its original Triumph Stag 3. 0L V8 engine and benefiting from a detailed, well-documented restoration by respected professionals. Why We Bought It & Why You'll Love It

We bought this 1971 Triumph Stag Mk1 in October 2021 as a father-and-son project — my son was just 6 years old at the time, and I wanted to share something hands-on, fun, and memorable with him.

The previous owner had already done a fantastic job collecting and fitting most of the essential parts, so our focus was on bringing the car to the finish line and making it truly shine. Together, we spent time sanding the car down, preparing it for a professional £4, 000 respray in stunning Signal Red — giving it the fresh, head-turning finish it deserved.

It’s been a great experience watching this classic come to life, and seeing the pride in my son’s eyes has been priceless. This project gave us not just a beautiful car, but time well spent and memories made.

The Stag itself is something special — that original Triumph V8, the smooth automatic gearbox, and the unmistakable design that still draws attention over 50 years later. It’s a car full of presence and personality, and it’s ready to be driven, shown, or simply admired.

Now that the work is done, it’s time for us to pass this beautiful car on to a new owner. We're slowly working our way toward our dream car — a Ferrari — and this project has been a meaningful step in that journey.

We hope this Triumph goes to someone who will enjoy it just as much — whether you’re a collector, enthusiast, or simply someone who wants a classic with a story behind it.
