1976 Triumph Stag – French Blue
Rare Four-Speed Automatic Conversion
Full Refurbished Black Interior
Finished in its original French Blue paintwork, this Stag presents extremely well and is perfectly matched with a fully refurbished black interior, finished off with new blue carpets that really lift the cabin and complement the exterior beautifully.
This car has been the subject of considerable expenditure over a long period. It benefited from a full restoration some years ago and has since enjoyed long-term ownership, being dry stored for many years. When it arrived with us in January, it required only minor mechanical recommissioning along with light cosmetic attention to bring it up to its current very smart standard.
The interior was fully refurbished within the last three years and presents extremely well throughout. The seats are in excellent condition, the hood is excellent, and all brightwork is exceptionally good, contributing to the car’s strong overall presentation.
Mechanically, the Stag drives extremely well and benefits from a very rare four-speed automatic gearbox conversion. Anyone familiar with the Tate & Lyle four-speed automatic conversion will appreciate that this is a highly sought-after upgrade, transforming drivability and making the car far more usable in modern traffic.
