Description
Perfectly maintained 1977 Guzzi 850 t3, black colour, with number plate (Rome xxxxx) and original registration book of the time. The bike has recently been given a maxi general overhaul (documented by invoice) with tyre change, gel battery, front fork kit (springs, oil, oil seals), brake kit (changed brake pads and regenerated brake calipers and pistons), spark plugs and spark plug cables, all engine oils and fluids, all engine oil seals, carburettor kit and complete carburetion. The bike looks really good with no rust spots only signs of age, perfectly running, powerful and brilliant engine with great torque for a bike over 40 years old, it is fitted with phon mufflers with a fantastic sound, dark and rumbling as per Guzzi standards. A perfect authentic Café Racer from the 70's/ 80's. I give together cardboard box with various original parts preserved (mirrors, rev counter, dashboard complete with original mufflers). I sell due to lack of use x physical problems, no wasters, honest price not negotiable. Motorbike with only two owners bought in Rome in the mid 80's by my father who showed it off for some time, then passed it on to me when I turned 21 and since 1996 it has always been by my side, grinding out kilometres and taking part in Mc Rallies. It was my first 'real' bike. Now, after having completely restored and updated it, I reluctantly see it sitting in the garage and I rarely get to ride it (due to physical problems), which is why I'm handing it over to someone who will perhaps give it a new lease of life, making it do what it was born to do: walk, ride and give beautiful sensations.
The Guzzi 850 T3 was one of the first fast touring bikes to mount a 3-disc braking system, one of which (front right) autonomous, the other two (front left and rear) in combination with integral braking, at the time it was a revolution in the two-wheel world.
