Description
My much loved 1974 MGB GT was completely restored by specialists at total cost of circa £20K in 2014; I purchased it privately in 2017 but due to deteriorating health will pass to the next enthusiastic owner.
This MGB is presented in midnight blue metallic paint, with a contrasting dove grey leather interior. The car sports 15" chrome 72 spoke wire wheels with chrome knock on hubs and chrome radiator grill.
The complete engine rebuild incorporated a stage 2 cylinder head and other works including: S/ S sports exhaust system, air conditioning unit, Spax suspension to front & rear, with up-rated discs and new calipers, Kenlowe electric fan and electronic ignition. Also Alloy rocker cover and K&N filters.
Internal features include walnut dashboard & door cappings, Moto Lita woodrim steering wheel, central console and seats in leather, fitted door speakers, SatNav system with radio and phone connections for hands-free operation.
The 900 OTX private plate is included in the price. Why did I buy 900 OTX?
I bought it to complete a long time ambition - I was planning to buy the great-looking MGB GT back in 1968 ... but two children (and all their stuff) appeared. So, I finally bought this one almost 50 years later!
The car looks and sounds great, driving perfectly, with overdrive & power-assisted steering. A head-turner.
It will give great pleasure to a new owner, who just wants to enjoy leisure driving, not endless hours of work in the garage!
